New Patients

How do I schedule to see you?
Call the office! I see new patients on Tuesday or Thursday at my Lafayette Office location. All patients must be seen in person before they are eligible for online appointments. We will email you a link to online forms to get started!

Child or adolescent patients are seen with their parents for a total of 90 minutes, including time spent with just the parents, the child alone (if appropriate), and treatment planning with everyone involved.

Adult patients are initially seen for 60 minutes with treatment recommendations at the end of that appointment.
Are your services covered by my insurance?
All of my services are self-pay. You can read more about that here.
New Patient Evaluations are: $400
What do I get from an evaluation?
You get a detailed and thorough assessment including screening for many psychiatric disorders, review of past medical, psychiatric, and social history, and a focused evaluation of your current symptoms. At the end of the evaluation, if appropriate, we establish a diagnosis. I will discuss treatment recommendations, which may include lifestyle suggestions, psychotherapy and/ or psychiatric medication. If we are in agreement about the treatment, I can prescribe and monitor your medications.
What next?
We work together to help you feel better! I often see new patients again within a few weeks, then around a month after that - although this depends on the patient and circumstances. I see my patients at least once every 3 months. This is in your BEST INTEREST - it helps patients take their medication correctly, avoid running out of refills, recognize side effects, monitor medication response, and address changing symptoms.
