• Board certified in General (Adult) Psychiatry in 2013.

• Board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2014.​

What does it mean to be board certified?

Each specialty of medicine has its own board, which administers exams and credentials medical doctors as specialists in their field. This means a board certified doctor has proven themselves to be an expert in their field. Not every doctor is board certified. 

To maintain board certification a doctor has to continue education and training over their career, and re-certify periodically, ensuring they are up-to-date and know about cutting edge treatments!
